1. Acceptance of Conditions
By registering your school with the Wisdom Care Foundation for the National Secondary School Mathematics Quiz (NSSMQ), you expressly agree to be bound by all these conditions. If you do not agree to all conditions, you may not register.
2. Accuracy of Information
Schools guarantee that all information provided during registration is accurate, current, and complete. Any misrepresentation or false information may result in immediate disqualification and sanctions. WCF reserves the right to verify any information provided.
3. Compliance with Laws
Schools must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and their respective state governments. Schools participating must have current operational licenses and clearance.
4. Student Eligibility Verification
Schools are responsible for verifying that all registered students:
- Are current students in SS1, SS2, or SS3 at the school
- Have not been expelled or suspended for academic dishonesty
- Have provided legitimate personal identification
- Understand and accept competition rules
Schools indemnify WCF against any claims arising from registration of ineligible students.
5. Conduct and Ethics
Schools and their representatives must:
- Conduct themselves professionally and ethically
- Not engage in fraud, cheating, or manipulation of results
- Not share competition materials or answers with unauthorized parties
- Not attempt to gain unfair advantage through technical manipulation
- Respect the intellectual property rights of WCF
6. Communication and Updates
Schools agree to maintain current contact information and check emails regularly for important announcements. WCF will communicate via:
- Email address provided at registration
- Official WCF website announcements
- SMS notifications (if phone number provided)
It is the school's responsibility to ensure timely communication with students.
7. Payment and Refund Policy
By registering students, schools acknowledge that:
- Registration fees are set and non-negotiable
- Fees are non-refundable once payment is confirmed
- Students assume financial responsibility for their own registration
- Payment constitutes commitment to participate
8. Monitoring and Compliance Audits
WCF reserves the right to:
- Monitor quiz sessions for cheating and irregularities
- Conduct audits of school records and student information
- Request documentation to verify student eligibility
- Disqualify any student or school found in violation
9. Disqualification and Sanctions
WCF may disqualify a school or individual students for:
- Academic dishonesty or cheating
- Providing false or inaccurate information
- Violation of anti-cheat policies
- Unauthorized sharing of competition materials
- Any form of fraud or manipulation
- Violation of these terms and conditions
Disqualified schools and students are permanently banned from future competitions and may face legal action.
10. Results and Score Accuracy
WCF commits to:
- Accurate calculation and verification of scores
- Fair and transparent ranking methodology
- Timely publication of results
- A mechanism for score appeals (within 7 days of publication)
All results are final after the appeal period unless fraud is discovered. WCF's decisions on appeals are binding and conclusive.
11. Prize Distribution
Prize distribution is based on:
- Final verified scores and rankings
- Compliance with all competition rules
- No record of academic dishonesty
- Successful completion of all post-quiz requirements
WCF reserves the right to withhold prizes if fraud is discovered post-competition.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WCF shall not be liable for:
- Any technical failures or system downtime
- Lost or corrupted student data (except through WCF negligence)
- Internet connectivity issues on the school or student's end
- Damages beyond the registration fee paid
- Any indirect or consequential damages
13. Modification of Conditions
WCF reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. Schools will receive 30 days' notice of material changes. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of modified conditions.
14. Termination of Registration
WCF may terminate a school's registration and participation if:
- The school violates any terms or conditions
- Fraud or cheating is discovered
- The school fails to comply with reasonable WCF requests
- Payment cannot be verified
- The school engages in unethical conduct
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these conditions shall be resolved as follows:
- First: Direct communication between school and WCF
- Second: Mediation by a neutral third party
- Third: Arbitration or legal proceedings under Nigerian law
